Our bromelain is a group of sulfhydryl hydrolytic proteases extracted and refined from pineapple stems by bioengineering technology, with a molecular weight of 33000 and an isoelectric point of 9.55. 


It can be widely used in food, health products, medicine and biological industries.


The main component of bromelain is a sulfhydryl-containing protease, and also contains peroxidase, acid phosphatase, several protein inhibitors and organically active calcium.


The active center of bromelain is sulfhydryl (—SH), which can carry out various protein hydrolysis and biochemical reactions.
