Papain is a thiol protease, which can hydrolyze the carboxyl terminus of arginine and lysine in proteins and polypeptides, and can preferentially hydrolyze those amino acids with two carboxyl groups at the N-terminus of peptide bonds or the peptide bonds of aromatic L-amino acids.
Our papain is extracted from the unripe fruit of papaya, and the enzyme activity is between 100,000u/g and 2,000,000u/g. Mainly used for Dietary supplement , Food additive ,Beverage ,Cosmetic etc.
