Aronia berry extract is a powder made from wild berries, also known as Aronia melanocarpa, which is also known as immortal berry and black-fruited glandular ribs.

 

Its fruit is dark purple to nearly black and is rich in anthocyanins, polyphenols and other active ingredients. It is native to North America and has been introduced and cultivated in Northeast my country. It was approved as a national new food ingredient in 2018.
