Quillaja saponaria extract is a natural plant ingredient extracted from the bark, trunk or branches of Quillaja saponaria. Its main components are:

 

• Saponin: The highest proportion, belonging to the triterpenoid saponin (molecular weight 1800-2300), plays a cleaning and foaming role.
• Carbohydrates: glucose, arabinose, xylose, rhamnose, etc., to help improve solubility.
