Wolfberry Extract

 

Wolfberry extract is a concentrate of active ingredients extracted from wolfberry (Lycium barbarum L.), and its core ingredients include wolfberry polysaccharides (LBP), betaine, carotenoids (such as zeaxanthin, β-carotene), flavonoids, etc.

 

Preparation method:

 

1. Alcohol ultrasonic extraction method
The wolfberry raw material is soaked in 15%-20% ethanol aqueous solution, ultrasonicated at 25°C–40°C for 1.5–2 hours, filtered and concentrated into extract, and spray dried to obtain extract powder.

 

2. Water extraction method
The wolfberry residue after defatting is desugared with 80% ethanol, and then polysaccharides are extracted with water at 90°C–100°C, and purified after alcohol precipitation.

 

3. Supercritical CO₂ extraction
It is used to extract fat-soluble components (such as wolfberry oil and β-carotene) without solvent residue.

 

4. Patented technology (black wolfberry)
Microwave and ultrasonic synergistic wall breaking, freeze concentration and graded collection of extracts of different concentrations to improve utilization rate.
