Antrodia camphorata extract powder is a rare medicinal fungus unique to Taiwan. It mainly lives on the inner wall of Cinnamomum kanehirae hollow tree trunks.

The extract is a concentrate of active ingredients obtained from fruiting bodies or mycelium through techniques such as water extraction, alcohol extraction or supercritical extraction. Its main ingredients are:

1. Liver protection

Antcin C enhances liver detoxification enzyme activity by activating the Nrf2/ARE pathway.

2. Anti-tumor activity

Induces cancer cell apoptosis (Caspase-3 activation) and inhibits VEGF angiogenesis.

3. Immunomodulation

Antrodia camphorata extract powder β-glucan binds to the Dectin-1 receptor on the surface of macrophages to promote IL-12 secretion.

Potential risk warning:

1. Acute toxicity

Mouse LD50>5000 mg/kg (water extract), but alcohol extract showed pathological changes in liver and kidney tissue at 2000 mg/kg.

2. Drug interactions:

Enhance the anticoagulant effect of warfarin (INR value may increase 1.5 times)
Reduce cyclosporine plasma concentration (CYP3A4 induction)

3. Long-term use (>3 months) case report:

5% of users experience elevated ALT (>80 U/L)
Thrombocytopenia (<100×10⁹/L) occurred in 0.3%
